Yesterday, Jeff Sewell, Hugh Garrett and I did some morning birding at the
Blalock Reservoir, Huie ponds and another site near Blalock. Since
Blalock has closed for the fishing season, many more birds have come in
from nearby sites to the now peaceful lake...well, peaceful until an adult
Bald Eagle decided to stir up the Am. Coots. If any of you are
