Subject: Le Conte's, Clay-colored Sparrows continue at Altamaha WMA
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
A Le Conte's and a Clay-colored Sparrow, reported earlier this week by Gene Keferl, were seen again during the week along Massman Road in the Altamaha WMA, McIntosh County. These birds were in the second field in from US 17. I found them in bushes on the marsh side of the field and in weeds in the center of the field. They were well west of the area of large trees.
