Hi All,
Following below is a transcript of an email response I received from the
Great Lakes Piping Plover banding folks regarding banding information for
the Piping Plover that Max Medley, Trey McCuen, and I saw on St. Simons
Island (SSI), East Beach, 6th St. access, on 10/23. Thanks to Alice Van
Zoeren for the response and instructions.
GPS coordinates for where we saw the plover:

Nice video of one of our Great Lakes Piping Plovers. You ask where to send
PIPL reports to find out a bit about the bird's history -- plover@umn.edu
is the address for the Great Lakes population. If you send information
about a plover from one of the other populations we will forward it to the
appropriate researcher.
As for your bird -- X,G:Of,BL was hatched in 2007 at Brevort, MI and
banded in 2009 at Gulliver, MI. Both locations are along the north shore
of Lake Michigan in the upper peninsula.
