This morning Dan Vickers, Bill Lotz, Mark McShane, Thomas Price and I looked for the Bell's Vireo at the end of the river trail. The bird was not seen today, but I did hear it singing from across Walnut Creek. Others did not hear the bird because of the traffic noise coming from the interstate. I may be out at the monument in morning birding and I will look for the vireo again.
