That's OK, that was one of my first thoughts as well - there are missing
link variable values or mismatched variable types.

I also checked to make sure there are no link variables with the same
spelling but different case (such as SAI and sai in the same dataset), but
this wasn't a problem either. Anways, I don't think SAS is case sensitive.
