I'd be curious of the LOGPARM option (which must be set in the config file)
is what you want. LOGPARM="WRITE=IMMEDIATE" , as opposed to WRITE=BUFFERED,
might accomplish that. Mary from the list was asking about that the other
day and inspired me to look the option up. I'm not 100% sure that it has an
effect on ALTLOG, but it might.
