My biggest frustration is with the new 9.2 online doc. It's very
difficult to find what I want, even if I already know what "book" it's
in. A simple index of all the "books" would be nice.
Plus, many document's make reference to other documents, but only as a
bolded text string. I was trying to read up about changes to
SAS/CONNECT today and the page says "Details about the security
technologies that SAS supports have been relocated from this document to
Encryption in SAS". Yes, I typed that into the search box and found 270
references to that phrase, but a hyperlink would have been so much
easier.
When I need to find the syntax for a function or the proper spelling of
a format, I also go back to the old 9.1 online doc. That application is
so much easier to use, at least for me.

Assuming that you are referring to doing a keyword search of the on-line
docs, in the drop down list of products, click on the product that you
want
to scan .

Totally agree with Dale on the matrix functionalities be part of BASE
SAS.
I would add another one here:
For the online help, there should be a limiting mechanism to limit the
key
word search to, e.g. BASE SAS only. Right now a search will bring back
all
the items from all the products, too much of a good thing!
Happy New Year!
