Subject: 2-dimensional array and SAS data set
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi there,

Could anyone give me a simple but meaningful application of 2-dimensional array? Arrays in SAS are usually used to reference variables in a data set. But, it seems that all SAS data sets organize their variables on the first row instead of multiple rows. This make me concerned about the usefulness of a 2-dimensional array.

Thanks.

Max
