information, though it's mostly focused on Unix. I don't have ODBC only
OLEDB, and OLEDB doesn't seem to use the password option in this case - a
functioning OLEDB query fails when password is added. However, if you leave
password off from an OLEDB query, it will open Excel and prompt you for a
password, which could be helpful.
