Alan,
some use like
- under Linux, you cannot open a second pgm editor (as you are allowed
to under Windows)
a viewer is usefull for copy/pasting lines of code between system from a
nfs mount ressource
or with the same viewer
- consulting directly under windows a sas table (not locked!!!) before
submitting a job through an interactive X11 screen .
