I do not put a lock on a table. Let me know if find otherwise.
This viewer is also designed for Windows and not Linux. I am looking at the
Linux issue.

Alan,
some use like
- under Linux, you cannot open a second pgm editor (as you are allowed to
under Windows) a viewer is usefull for copy/pasting lines of code between
system from a nfs mount ressource or with the same viewer
- consulting directly under windows a sas table (not locked!!!) before
submitting a job through an interactive X11 screen .
