One major difference between SAS-L and Institute-sponsored sites is that Institute employees cannot post on SAS-L although they do monitor the traffic and interact through go-betweens when they feel it to be necessary. The thread this morning concerning using ODS with a Sudaan module called by SAS appears to be a good example of a situation where Institute would help.

Allowing Institute employees to participate would seem to be an improvement.
