I was sick of staying inside because of the rain, so I put on my rain gear and headed for Hugh Gillis Public Fishing Area (PFA).  It was cold and wet and I had the place to myself and was rewarded with the presence of an immature Bald Eagle and a single Common Loon!  Just to an an exclamation point to the day, the loon gave a yodel for me!  I have never heard a loon call in Georgia before this day!
