Ducks! Having been gone for several days...in addition to Blue-winged and Green-winged Teal and N. Shovelers, which arrived recently, there were 3 Gadwall and 2 male Ring-necked Ducks on the Huie ponds today. Four Am. Coots have also joined the fray. Also interesting was a swarm of Chimney Swifts with about 8 Tree Swallows and 5 Barn Swallows. Three Great Egrets remain. Had a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in front of the building, but no chance to check the trail yet.
