Subject:   Seaside Sparrow - Carter's Rereg Lake Sparrow Field - 10/30/09

Hi All,

Max Medley just called from the sparrow field at the Carter's Rereg Lake requesting a post of his latest find! He just had a Seaside Sparrow (he says the gulf coast fisheri subspecies from the National Geographic field guide, 4th edition) in the eastern central part of the powerhouse sparrow field there. He watched the bird for 5+ minutes from a distance of 6-8 feet! He said it looks to be a probable adult but without breast streaking, and whitish throat not so defined as in the field guide.

Good Birding All!

Mark
