Subject: The new census tiger shapefiles
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hello,   Could anyone tell me how to convert the Tiger shapefiles back to text format? Freeware?  I have the 2002 Tiger line files in ASCII at the block level, and I want to get the same thing out of these 2008 shapefiles.  (No, I don't have SAS/GIS).   Thanks,   -harry
