This is actually a frustrating thing. Fortunately you can always run simultaneous independent SAS sessions.

Hi,

Partial question, partial vent: has anyone requested of SAS that they make their GUI multithreaded so that while a long-running piece of code is executing the user can make changes in the editor, browse my libraries and open non-affected datasets, etc.? Am I the only one frustrated by this?

Matt
