Greetings all,
A few sightings over the last few days:
March 25
Black-and-White Warbler- 1 singing at Harbins Park, a brand new facility in
southern Gwinnett County (just opened on Mar 21).
American Goldfinch- I had a male that was in full breeding plumage except
for a small grayish patch on the nape, with a female that was about 50% into
breeding plumage, both at my home in Lawrenceville.
March 26
Great Egret- 5 at a marsh just east of Kilcrease Rd at Hwy 316 in Barrow
County, FOS for me.
Horned Grebe- 1 at Bear Creek Reservoir (Jackson Co).
Bald Eagle- 1 sudadult flew over Bear Creek Reservoir (Jackson Co) and sent
all the ducks and coots scattering.
Bonaparte's Gull- 4 at Bear Creek Reservoir.
