Hi,

When you installed SAS did it confirm that the installation completed successfully? The messages you are getting suggest that some files that are unpacked during the installation process, are not actually there. This may be due to user permissions, or that you installed SAS in a different location to the /usr/local/SAS/SAS_9.1 folders.

I would be tempted to re-install SAS and see if you get the same errors, make sure that the user you install with has full rights to the installation directory. Another possiblility is that SAS isn't fully supported (it's fussy with Linux) have a look at the knowledge base on http://support.sas.com to see exaclty which linux versions SAS runs on.
