Subject: Identification

Hello friends and shellmaniacs, I've a fossil pecten from Portugal which I cannot ID. I've several good pictures available for those who want to have a try at it or if anyone want to post these pics on a site so they're available to you all, contact me eddy.wilmet@skynet.be The pecten is from Sesimbra, Portugal, miocene-tortonian formation 40x40mm and according to Arne Ghys (www.pectensite.com) probably from the genus "Pecten" or "Euvola" For a study I'm also in urgent search of fine specimens of common North- American pectinidae (please no sale, only exchange). Thanks for your help and happy shelling,

Eddy WILMET
