Subject: One Short-eared Owl seen this evening
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Good evening birders,

I arrived at Cobb owl fields at 4:00PM this afternoon in earnest hopes I might get a photograph of a Short-eared Owl in flight or perched somewhere. Alas none showed themselves to me or my camera. At 6:15PM one lone individual was seen but it was way too dark for a picture by then.
