I've noticed the same problem, but only on my home PC, not on my PC at work (both XP).

And on my home PC I get the following warning when I re-open a file.

>Warning # 67. Command name: get file >The document is already in use by another user or process. If you make >changes to the document they may overwrite changes made by others or your >changes may be overwritten by others. >File opened K:\PROJECT\SCHOLEN\DATA\NMOVG-2.sav

I haven't noticed this at work.
