Hello everyone. In my recent post about Commerce Waterworks Lake I failed to post directions. A few friendly GABO folks gently reminded me, thanks.

From exit 149 at I-85, go north on US 441 and turn left at the second light, which should be Stephen B Tanger Blvd. Take the first right which is still Steven Tanger Blvd (soon after making this turn you should see a Home Depot on the left). Go about 0.8 mile and look for a road that sort of forks off to the right, just past the large open parking areas for the Atlanta Dragway (also on the right). Stay on this road, which I think becomes Grove Level Rd, and at about 1.4 miles you'll see the dirt road and (usually) open gate on the left for the waterworks lake. This turn is where the main road makes a hard right curve. There's a grassy open shoreline with good views of the east half of the lake. Further down the entry raod there is another parking area at a little point/island. Walk to the far side of that point for partial views of the west half of the lake.
