Hello, One good source of data (don't think anybody's suggested it yet) is the UN Statistics Division; check the section on "Technology: Diffusion and Creation" variables. IIRC, data on Internet use and cell phone subscribers has a fairly long history, at least for highly-developed nations. http://data.un.org/

Dear All,

Could you please tell me where I can download free Time Series Data from? Any suggestion is welcome even though I would prefer data about "emerging/developing countries" (South America, Asia, Africa ... ) from the field like: Internet usage/access, Mobile phone owners, car owners etc.

Thanks & Kind regards, Franz
