The winds were brisk this morning while birding off the front porch with my
usual cup of coffee. The Rose Breasted Grosbeaks have been visiting the
feeder for about a week now. The hummingbird feeder is down to just one Ruby
throated hummingbird. I always see Vultures soaring around but I did have a
Northern Harrier float across the sky this morning. I have not ever seen one
in the yard's proximity. I also had an American Kestrel along the power
lines on Old River Road.
