Subject:   Cochran Shoals

I made an extremely quick visit to Cochran Shoals today to check the sparrow field near the bathrooms for anything interesting. I spent a grand total of 20 minutes at the field I think. There was a ton of activity and found 1 Marsh Wren and several Eastern Meadowlarks. The best bird was a Least Flycatcher on the way back to the parking lot (Power's Ferry) between the trail and the river about halfway to the lot. Would have been great to have more time.
