Describe the organization of your data. What is a case (i.e., what does
a
row of data represent)? Describe your variables. Do you have a variable
which distinguishes doctors in hospitals from doctors in private
practice?
Do you have a variable which distinguishes start and exit wage rates or
is
this stored in two variables?
What version of SPSS are you using?
Organization is the most important factor in determining the appropriate
syntax to use to create charts and the version your using will determine
the
alternative options available to you to create boxplots.

Subject: box plots
Hi,
I am analysing start and exit wage rates for doctors in hospitals and
graphing my results using box plots. I also have the start and exit
wage rates for doctors in private practice and would like to highlight
this in the box plot that represents the wage rates for doctors in
hospitals. Is this possible? If so, how do i do this?
