Subject: the Kite still flies!

I missed yesterday after the rain so headed up about 11:15 this morning
under overcast skies. No Swallow-tailed Kite. I only saw a Red-tailed Hawk
perched.
I swung back by about 1:45 and saw it as I pulled up! It was flying over
the field towards the high school where it's often been. Two Black Vultures
soared. Parrie joined me and the Kite headed back to the field across from us
and really put on a show against the bluebird skies - dipping low to shrubs
and soaring high again! She was still watching when I had to leave so may
have more to report.
