Nat,
Yes, we are drying out, my sump pump is hanging in there and keeping my basement dry, but my backyard is still more like a pond. Since you do fish, you may want to take a road trip; some of the fish weren't fast enough swimmers, or smart enough or something, to swim back with the river when the river went back into the river. So now they are everywhere- on railroad tracks, on sidewalks, in people's houses. What should we do with them all???
We are much looking forward to Quaker Oats starting back up again in a few weeks; the comforting smell as you go past downtown of Quaker Cinnamon Oatmeal Squares or whatever's cooking that day will be much more appreciated in the future than it had been in the past!
