Subject: shell wallpapaper
I would like to choose a nice picture of a shell for wallpaper on the
desktop of my computer. The color of the icon text is now white, the text size is
alright. That is; a picture of a big "W" with Microsoft Word under it is
white. All icons with text are white on the desktop. The techie at Helen
Keller Services for the Blind never returned my phone call. The geek squad at
Best Buy where my computer was fixed, didn't help either. I have Windows XP. I
tried control anal>display>appearance tab, then advance button, then
desktop, menu, icon, etc., no color change even if the color displayed is changed.
Can anyone help? Any computer geeks out there? My mouse pointer is red,
large, so a black background is bad. A white background is alright but the
icon text is white. What can I do?
