Good evening birders,

I counted and photographed no fewer than four different Dickcissels singing from power lines along Cobb Cheek Road in Sumter County this afternoon. This is the traditional area we so often park and watch for the Short-eared owls in the winter months. The birds are most obliging should you want to see them and tolerate humans walking very near to them.
