Subject: Stilt Sandpiper flock at E.L. Huie

A nice group of shorebirds was found on the northwest pond at E.L. Huie this afternoon including:

STILT SANDPIPER - 9 (all in alternate plumage) Semipalmated sandpiper - 14 Least sandpiper - 3 Killdeer - 6 (chasing the peeps around)

Also. . . at the south pond:

Semipalmated sandpiper - 3 Least sandpiper - 12

There were no white-rumped sandpipers in either group.
