Can anyone please confirm if SAS 9.1.3 runs under Vista64? I too had the same error when trying to install SAS 9.1.3 in Vista 64. Given that the error refered to the fact that the application was not a 64bits, I didn't even think of using the solution proposed to install under Vista32. I then reinstalled my Vista32 and was able to install SAS 9.1.3 (just had to change the app option to be XP compatible). According to this webpage (http://support.sas.com/techsup/pcn/vista.html): "SAS 9.1.3 SP4 products support the three 32-bit versions of Windows Vista that are targeted at the business market. SAS 9.1.3.SP4 does not support Windows Vista 64-bit editions at this time."

Hi Phil, I think the main problem is the install routine. There is a tutorial on the SAS pages (usage notes) how to install 9.1.3 on Vista. After doing that, 9.1.3 will run there. But I don't think you have advantages with that. Gerhard
