your messages sound like the license applying is not successful. That license seems to be applied in sashost.dll (in previous releases it was in the CORE catalog in the CORE-Subdir). So if you have a installation which was successfully installed, that might be a way to get your wrong installation to run. Try it out after installing SAS. One question: are you asked by the installation routine to define the location of your license-file? If yes, try to copy that file to a disk- directory and tell the routine that path. Gerhard
