To add to Mark's suggestion, in the on-line documents, look for

Base SAS and under that SAS Language Reference: Concepts

This discusses the aspects of SAS as a programming language and how to use it. There is a companion tab called SAS Language Reference: Dictionary which gives details on the various classes of SAS statements, functions, ets, as well as sections on Procedures.

Also, there is quite a bit of material on www.sas.com

If anyone has a pdf copy of the books that you mentioned, it probably be illegal to forward it. I recall seeing at Amazon offer to sell the SAS Learning Edition along with The Little SAS Book or one of the similar titles.

Good luck in your studies. If you take the time to learn SAS, you will find yourself with a very powerful tool.
