To add to Mark's suggestion, in the on-line documents, look for
Base SAS and under that SAS Language Reference: Concepts
This discusses the aspects of SAS as a programming language and how to use
it. There is a companion tab called SAS Language Reference: Dictionary
which gives details on the various classes of SAS statements, functions,
ets, as well as sections on Procedures.
Also, there is quite a bit of material on www.sas.com
If anyone has a pdf copy of the books that you mentioned, it probably be
illegal to forward it. I recall seeing at Amazon offer to sell the SAS
Learning Edition along with The Little SAS Book or one of the similar
titles.
Good luck in your studies. If you take the time to learn SAS, you will find
yourself with a very powerful tool.

Hello,
My name is Ania, I am trying to fing out about good books on SAS. I was
recomended these:
The Little SAS Book: A Primer, Third Edition
Learning SAS by Example: A Programmer's Guide
Does anyone hold PDF copy of those? Or maybe any PDF copy of practical
materials to learn on your own SAS?
Thanks a lot for your time,
