Fforde Management, a global executive search firm, is currently seeking a
seasoned Recruitment Consultant an in-house position in New York City. The
Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and qualifying candidates
for various clients throughout the US territory, and may assist with
account management. The Recruiter will work with candidates from
identification stages through offer negotiation and placement.
Responsibilities
The Recruiter will be responsible for developing selected Accounts and
Vacancies.
In order to achieve this, the following activities should be undertaken:
• "head hunting”, database calls and advertising to find suitable
candidates for clients; networking and client development to increase
business within selected accounts.
• Organise and attend account development meetings in line with
the above. Additionally, attend other client meetings as required.
Recruiters must maintain and develop existing and new candidates through
appropriate and ethical sales methods, ensuring quality of service to all
parties at all times. Manage advertising and local marketing needs,
liaising with the operations department and providing them with all
relevant information. Regular contact should be maintained with all
contractors and their line managers, including carrying out performance
reviews. Ensure that all client and candidate enquiries – both telephone
and email - are followed up with an appropriate response. Attend training
and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. Maintain regular
consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and a professional
appearance. Clinical Recruiters may be required to provide mentoring
services to new staff.
Qualifications
BS or BA or higher or equivalent education and experience
3+ years recruiting experience in a staffing/ Recruitment Agency
environment, preferably in clinical research, healthcare, scientific, or
similar discipline
Success in placing candidates in positions from entry level through
Director/Executive level
Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
