Subject: Dublin Mango
Today my dad finally took me to Dublin. We sat from 7:45AM to 5:30PM in
the Rhode's side yard and checked the Jackson's backyard every 15 minutes
or so. We saw the mango twice, once at 11:45AM and again at 4:45PM. The
first time was a fleeting glance and the second time -- Oh No! -- my
binoculars were in the car because we were about to leave. So all I could
do was stare hard, and although Daddy had his binoculars, I think I saw
just as much as he did. This time it stayed to feed for several seconds
and it never did come back after that. No luck on the Rufous. The Rhodes
and the Jacksons were very acommadating and were extremely helpful and
gracious and made our time quite enjoyable. While watching the for the
hummer, we saw
Field sparrow
House sparrow
Chipping sparrow
White-throated sparrow
House finch
Northern cardinal
Northern mockingbird
and a few others
a very nice day!
