Birding our backyard today yielded some pleasant surprises.

Among the usual feeder visitors we had: 8 Purple Finches 4 White-Throated Sparrows 3 Pine Siskin 1 Red-Breasted Nuthatch 2 Brown-Headed Nuthatches
