IPAs were designed to hold up around the Cape. Lots of hops.

I've never much liked vegemite Alan, although it is supposed to be very high
in B complex vitamins which might have a benefit for morning after feelings.
HP sauce is another matter, since a lot of "breakfast sausages" tend towards
tasteless, and it adds a pleasant spicy edge to even the most insipid
offerings.
I watched an interview with an Italian chef last night who was discussing
his campaign against the use of garlic. He alleged it had been employed to
disguise the lack of quality of some ingredients, and now masks the pleasant
tastes that the natural and better ingredients nowadays give to the palate.
Since there is a certain conference chair who has repeatedly visited Tuscany
for learning the finer arts of Tuscan cooking, I am curious about his take
on that statement.
Actually, a lot of very spicy sauces like HP or Worcestershire have their
basis in the days before refrigeration when the meat being used might be
somewhat past its use by date. That's why salt pork and salt beef were so
common on ships, and the origin of just about every curry you can imagine.
Indeed, one must wonder what sins vindaloo was designed to hide.
Perhaps your "easy to digest" offering has subtleties and nuances that don't
need masking with tongue burning additions <grin>
Kind regards
David

Give it a go and see what you think. Toss on a dollop of vegemite and hope
for the best.

Hmm, does easy to consume mean I don't need HP sauce to enjoy it for my
breakfast Alan? <grin>
Kind regards

All,
I have uploaded a new version of SaviUtilities to fix a bug in the way that
SAS reports CPU utilization for log processing. It can be found here:
http://www.sascommunity.org/wiki/SaviUtilities
SaviUtilities includes a log parser called SaviLog that parses SAS logs and
provides an easy to consume graphical interface for viewing SAS logs.
