Shorebirds are beginning to show up in various localities (for directions to these locations see www.wingsoverga.com): Jul 29 11 UPLAND SANDPIPERS were seen at the Marshallville sod farm, Macon Co. along with other shorebirds. From the Clayton Co. water authority land on Aug 3: E.L. Huie facility - PECTORAL SANDPIPER, LEAST SANDPIPERS, LESSER YELLOWLEGS, 5 PURPLE MARTINS, 10 GREAT EGRETS, 2 RING-NECKED DUCKS remained there this summer, and I Lakes Shamrock / Blalock: YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, ANHINGA Wetlands Center: EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE, YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS, SUMMER TANAGERS. No migrant warblers yet, although some have been seen at Kennesaw Mtn in Cobb Co..

3 ROSEATE SPOONBILLS are now present at a pond in Screven co. (no location given).
