Ken,
I have no clue why SAS was mentioned there at all in the context -
perhaps just an attempt at a cheap shot by proxy. There may have
been numerous experts in System 2000 - I would not know, for in
all my years in SAS, I have never met one. So for me to say that being
versed in System 2000 is a dying skill is about the same as to say
that what never existed is dead. Difficult to argue that...
Incidentally, at ComputerWorld, the entire rubric called The SAS Zone
(sic, together with the definite article) is dedicated completely to
Serial Attached SCSI.
