Checked the dock box this afternoon with my grandchildren, Sophie (6)and Sawyer (2) and they got to see my baby Wood Ducks which had hatched. They should leave the box Sunday morning (not the grandchildren - the baby ducks) and from what I could tell without moving them about - I think 11 of the 12 eggs have hatched. Will get a accurate count tomorrow afternoon after they have left. Poor little ducks will have to exit the box and hit HARD GROUND instead of water since my pond it almost dry!!!!
