I birded Clyde Shepherd this morning for a couple of hours starting at about
7:30 am. Highlights for me were:
Louisiana Waterthrush singing from the top of a tree (yep, that's right) at
the far end of the meadow trail
Northern Waterthrush, several, along the creek trail
Swainson's Warbler (heard but not seen) singing from across the creek in the
bamboo forest area
Blue-winged Warbler heard from the observation tower
Wood Thrush singing on the pine trail
