"We have one more hurdle. We need to encourage Governor Sonny Perdue to sign the legislation. If he chooses to veto the bill, we will be at square one again. I hope that you will e-mail or write the Governor urging him to protect Jekyll Island and sign HB 214. The General Assembly has spoken loud and clear that the south end should be forever protected from development. Now it's up to Governor Perdue."
