eew. Try telling that to the biologists, hydrogeomorphologists, and
others here.
It doesn't need to be political. We've had SAS nearly forever, and it
excels at data analysis, but that hasn't stopped us from recently
getting MS SQL which has the advantage of being relational. SAS doesn't
have built in table integrity checks, yet. A few ODBC statements seems
to get them to work sufficiently well together.
