Subject:      SAS Reporting Tools

Hi, I am a professional SAS Programmer / Statistician and I have been doing a lot of thinking about the relative strengths and weaknesses of several summary and reporting tools available in SAS (namely the usage of Procs: Freq, Univariate, Means, SQL, Tabulate & Report for the purposes of: generating summary statistics, creating output datasets or generating reports).

Since different professionals, different companies and different industries may have varying opinions on the answers to these questions, I thought it might be interesting to take a quick cross-section of SAS User opinions and have created a short survey expressly for that purpose.

If you have the time and interest, please stop by the following link and provide me with your opinion.

Once sufficient time and data allow, I will publish the results on the same website. This may provide both employers and programmers with some interesting insights regarding what other SAS Users from across the board think of the relative utility of each of these summary / reporting tools.
