Hi! Anyone with a good syntax or chain of commands in SPSS to measure MAMBAC (means above means under a cut) and MAXCOV (maximum covariance)? And, if you just want to help me save time, syntaxes for measuring positive predictive value, negative predictive value, specificity and sensitivity.

I have a data set with N persons, and n persons have diagnosis A. To get diagnosis A, they need to have 5 or more out of 8 possible dichotomous criteria.

I want to check the reliability of those criteria, mainly by positive predictive value, negative predictive value, specificity and sensitivity. Thereafter I need to check if they are measuring a single taxonometric property, by using the MAMBAC- and MAXCOV-procedure.

Anyone?
