Subject: Lone Bonaparte's Gull - Lake Oliver Marina
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Happy New Year to all! -While out birding today I stopped by Lake Oliver Marina to check out what might be out and about..I found an injured Bonaparte's Gull mixed in with the "Regulars" (mallards and domestic ducks) waiting for bread crumbs from visitors stopping by the marina. The Bonaparte's Gull right wing was dragging in the water - apparently an injury. It was sad to see him isolated from other gulls. Hopefully he will heal and return to his flock.
