The Horned Grebes and Greater White-fronted Goose that were on the Huie ponds yesterday were not there today at lunchtime. There is a strange, hybrid I guess, goose that's just turned up today with a few Canadas...larger, with some characteristics of both Canada and Gr. White-fronted. Definitely not the same bird that was there yesterday though, which may have moved off with the main flock of Canadas.
