Subject: Installation problem (enhanced editor)

Hi,

I have just installed SAS 9.1.3 SP4 on my laptop (it's a T43 running Windows XP SP2) and the 'enhanced editor' is not working properly. Backspace, Return, Insert keys etc. are not responding. I can type, but that's just about it. The font is also weird, more like 'Arial'. Strangely the old program editor works fine, with the SAS ms font.

I have run 'SAS Installation Qualification Tool', and in the sasiq.pdf everything reports as 'passed'.

I have also run a separate install of the enhaned editor, found under 'bundles/'. No luck. Did restart the PC and all.. Did also uninstall SAS to give it a second go. Same problem.

SAS has worked on this computer before, with (I think) the exact same software rolled out from IT. (Alright, I crashed it, hence the need to reinstall everything :=)

The only suspicious message I got during installation was during the Graph part, saying 'No language resources available' or something, but that shouldn't be it?

So... anyone? Hotfix? :) I'm clueless.

Will maybe get help from a SAS-guy on friday, if none of you beats him to it!

Thanks for any hints, Arild
